Ruben Armenta grew up in the military, both as a military dependant and   an active duty Air Force Graphic Artist/Illustrator and later an Advertising Art Director for Air Force Recruiting Services.

Prior to Ruben’s Air Force enlistment he attended the University of Maryland, European Extension in Munich Germany.  The University's Studies Tour Program provided Mr. Armenta with a once in a lifetime opportunity to study Art in France, Italy and Czechoslovakia.

Throughout his military career Mr. Armenta’s illustrations, periodicals, billboards, posters, compact discs, related print applications as well as commissioned paintings all gained him national exposure. His Aviation themed works can be found in offices, conference rooms and private collections throughout the Air Force community.

Now retired, Mr. Armenta spends most of his time in his New Mexico studio painting.
